In November 2022, I was lucky enough to be invited to Samedan, just down the road from St. Moritz, to paint a mural in a bar with panoramic views across the Swiss landscape. Alongside a workshop and an additional mural at Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz, I spent a wonderful week in the country—dipping into glacial lakes and putting my paintbrushes to the test. The aim was to create something that reflected the surrounding landscape while retaining my usual nod to small imperfections and idiosyncrasies. It turns out that even pristine St. Moritz has a crane or two.
