I was invited to paint the end of a residential terrace in York, and upon arrival, I discovered that at the end of the road lay Severus Hill - a 4-acre site that was once a reservoir, now rewilded with trees, shrubs, and grassland, and designated as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. The water tower still stands on the site, and in my mural, I wanted to capture not only the tower itself but also buildings from around York, intertwined with the greenery slowly reclaiming the space.

The mural also inspired this 4 colour screen print available exclusively at Art of Protest Gallery in York.
