The Depot Bakery

The Depot Bakery, an artisan bakery and cafe in Sheffield’s Kelham Island.

Set in a cosy courtyard on Burton Street at the Neepsend side of Kelham Island, the cafe needed a mural to lift the large industrial space and make it feel more homely. It’s in an area that's still dominated by light industry, but Kelham Island is an area in a state of flux, making it an easy mural to paint because I only had to walk out of the door to be greeted with references and inspiration.
